How an engagement works

Exact terms are agreed for your project; this is the shape every engagement follows.

  1. Agree scope, deliverables and exclusions

Describe the problem, who it affects and what a useful first result looks like. We agree the deliverables, what is explicitly excluded and an estimate before work begins.

  2. Review milestones and working demonstrations

Work is organized around milestones you can see rather than only a final delivery date. We demonstrate working progress at agreed points and review it together against the original scope.

  3. Keep communication arranged upfront

We agree how and how often we check in, for example scheduled updates or milestone demonstrations, so progress and open questions stay visible for the length of the engagement.

  4. Hand over source, access and ownership

Source access, handover materials, ownership and licensing terms are set out in the project agreement, including any third-party tools or assets that carry their own terms.

  5. Handle scope changes deliberately

A requested change is discussed with its effect on cost and schedule before it is accepted, so the agreed plan stays the reference point unless you choose to change it.

  6. Plan for after launch

Post-launch support and any continuing maintenance are scoped as part of the agreement, describing the type of work covered rather than assumed automatically.

Buyer questions

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

The owner personally reviews inquiries and replies within 24 hours. That reply starts a conversation to clarify scope and next steps; it is not an automatic quote, an active review before you hear back, or a guarantee that email reaches you.

How do you show progress during a project?

We agree milestones tied to working, demonstrable progress rather than only a final handover. You can review the product against its intended scope at each of those points and raise questions while they are easy to address.

What if I need to change the scope partway through?

Tell us what has changed. We discuss the effect on cost and schedule before accepting the change, so you can decide whether to proceed now, adjust the timeline or leave it for later work.

Who owns the source code and what do I receive at handover?

Source access, handover materials, ownership and licensing terms are agreed in the project contract, including any third-party tools or assets that carry separate terms of their own.

Is support available after launch?

Post-launch support is scoped as part of the agreement rather than assumed by default. We identify the type of work covered and how it is requested before the project concludes.

What is excluded from the initial scope?

Anything not listed as a deliverable in the agreed scope is excluded by default. Exclusions are called out alongside the deliverables so expectations match from the start.
